My story in brief
I am a risk-taker with a high level of openness to new experiences. My natural curiosity toward the unknown and new experiences developed over the years as a child of UN-career parents — to date, I have lived in 12 countries spanning four continents. My risk-taking tolerance honed through the exposure to stock trading and understanding the financial markets since I was 13 years old.
I started my love for design through video games. There was a time when I even prioritised playing games over attending classes. I was fortunate enough to turn my passion into a career, starting with my first job in video games after moving to Tokyo. I then took a brief detour into entrepreneurship, founding and running my own successful video games startup that was eventually acquired by a subsidiary of Sony Entertainment USA after 20 months in operation.
Product leadership & design experience by field
My experience in running my startup and scaling the team post-acquisition only further solidified my leadership skills, which I bring to the table for the subsequent role in my design career that spans four continents.
When I am not playing video games, I balance my day job in design leadership with baking sourdough bread and travelling to places to indulge my wanderlust.

Global brands that I’ve worked with over the years
Current role
As Breville's first dedicated AI Product Strategy Lead, I shape and build the AI product roadmap, leading the strategic integration of AI and Machine Learning across our product ecosystem for our global customers across APAC, North America and Europe. My role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed AI/ML technologies into our connected appliances, DTC and App solutions to enhance UXs and optimising product performance.
Previously, as Global Head of UX, I led the growth of our UX DesignOps across Sydney, Seattle, and London. I bridged new product development, e-commerce, Apps, IoT, and Voice Experience to enhance customer engagement across Breville’s core product categories—Espresso, Beverage & Toast, Cooking, and Food Preparation. This extensive experience in product design and UX leadership laid the foundation for my current work, where I now oversee AI-driven innovation and strategic product management.
With a presence in 74 countries, our UX Design impacts major brands within the Breville Group, delivering meaningful experiences to consumers worldwide.

Other professional experiences
With over 13 years in the product design industry, I've honed my skills from China to California, passionately engaging in digital storytelling, video game design, AI, AR/VR, and user experience.
Prior to Breville, I held leadership positions at Boomworks, and Atlassian in Sydney. My experience spans public service, SaaS, education, arts, and government organisations, as well as video game design and development.
Prior to relocating to Sydney, I was based in Germany, working as Associate Creative Director at frog Munich. My experience in video game design and development was honed while I was at Trigger, serving as Vice President & Head of Studio in Shanghai with a quarterly base in Los Angeles.
During my tenure at Trigger, in addition to my functional role as Head of Studio & Creative Director in the company's video game division, I executed at least six movie campaigns, accounting for more than $ 50 billion in global revenue, with three number-one domestic (US) releases. Projects include District 9, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Wolverine, Toy Story 3, and The Adventure of Tintin. I also kick-started Trigger's Rapid Innovation Lab resulting in strategic partnerships with Apple, Disneyland (Magic Band prototype), Lego, Qualcomm, and Nike.
Before joining Trigger, I establish a video game startup called Design Sans Frontieres (DSF). We design and build online games and moonlight as an interactive design consultant for clients in Europe and China. DSF was later acquired by Trigger, a subsidiary of Sony Entertainment USA, in 2007.
